Just imagine the great Kodiak bear! Larger than life, intimidating and fierce! Well, our Kodiak is not so fierce or intimidating and in fact, he blends in with the herd quite nicely. Our Kodiak gets his name totally from his typey, "wooly-bear" looks.

This future herdsire has looks that you can't help but fall in love with. The next thing to do is crack open that fleece and see if the looks have something backing them up, and yes, they sure do!

With the powerhouse genetics of Formula 1 as his sire, possessing the great genetics of Jericho, Dakotia, Bueno, Augusto and Mr. President, and the champion lineage of his dam, Velveteen (Silvino), all you have to do is feel the fleece to know how it measures up. Density! Fineness! Staple Length! Rich, gorgeous color! IT'S ALL IN THERE!

Kodiak has held his own in the show ring as well. Only being shown 2x, he has finished in the top of his class both times. His compact frame allows for easy handling and, of course, we have paid quite a lot of attention to him, so he knows what he can get away with and what he can't.
