Gorgeous GunSmoke:

Born on the opening day of the 2008 Olympics, GUNSMOKE shares his birthday with his Champion-producing mother, MFI VELVETEEN. His sire is none other than MFI PERUVIAN BLACK MESQUITE, one of the best black males alive today! 'SMOKEY' is a rare MEDIUM SILVER GRAY sired by Mesquite.

Smokey's soft handle cannot be beat. With tight zipper crimp, and amazing staple length added to his almost spotless blanket, he is an asset to any breeding program. He is the entire package all rolled up into one amazing boy. The genetics that are jam-packed into this guy unbelievable and you'll have to see him to believe it.

Given Velveteen's (Somkey's dam) rare gray attributes of fineness, brightness and uniformity of color, we chose to add a big dose of Mesquite and got GUNSMOKE...a fine, uniform, and bright Medium Silver Grey boy with dense, bold crimp.

So, if you are interest in adding Black Mesquite genetics to your Gray program call us to discuss the details. We invite you to come see for yourself how amazing this boy really is!

He is both dense and crimpy with excellent conformation. He was owned and highly prized by the owner of Alianza in Peru and he was hand-selected by the importers as their own male. His gorgeous rose grey fleece won First Place in the 1999 AOBA Fleece show.
